SVV worked with ChemiSense from the very early stages of their development-cycle. Like many projects which come to SVV, Chemisense was very software-based, however was in need of a hardware development company to build the necessary device to deliver their unique software solutions. SVV helped prototype, test, and manufacture the Chemisense device.
As a research institute researching the development of pollutants in the air, we were very software and AI savvy but had less knowledge of the hardware development side, which is what brought us to SVV. They were able to help us with the commercialization of our hardware device.
ChemiSense is making the world’s first personal, wearable air quality monitor, giving everyone the chance to breathe smarter. By crowdsourcing data through a network of these mobile sensors, we can build detailed heat maps of air quality much like Waze did for traffic data.
